Too often believers have a tendency to wait for others to come to the church to welcome them and attempt to build a relationship with them. But in following the pattern of the New Testament, we see a greater need to focus on and emphasize "taking the church" out into the community as we serve and connect with others around us.

Whether that is a connection to neighbors, fellow workers, family members, etc. we are prayerfully seeking God's guidance in making those connections and doing our best to reflect the love and compassion of Christ to others we meet.

Of course, that is not to say we don't love meeting new friends and building connections with people who come on a Sunday for worship, we just want to make sure that isn't the only way we share our faith and fellowship with others.
